I CAN'T GO TO COSFEST.
DAMN.
As in, both illegally and legally.
This pissed me off so much.
BECAUSE.
My mother is so freakingly paranoid and she's ABSOLUTELY convinced that I'm DEFINITELY going to secretly attend Cosfest if she lets me out of the house for any reason whatsoever.
As a result, I can't even LEAVE THE HOUSE for 5 minutes for the entire weekend.
Even if I have super important work to do, or even if the house is BURNING DOWN.
WTF.

And the thing that pisses me off the second most is how deadly accurate she is.

Clearly, my parents are completely IGNORANT.
To the extent of being horrendously DUMB.
They don't understand the SIGNIFICANCE OF COSFEST?!
And the fact that it's a once in a lifetime event doesn't even register in their brains?!
Once a year, I know, but every Cosfest is different, so it's still a once in a lifetime event.
Urgh, they're so ignorant it should be a crime.
Can someone please lock them up and throw away the key?
They UTTERLY fail as parents.
They can't even recognise how much this means to their only daughter.
And, it's her MOTIVATION TO STUDY.
They know this, and yet they refuse to let me go?!
They're like, "Motivation? What motivation? Your motivation should be for your future! blahblahyaddayadda whee."
Hellooooooo? DO they REALLY not know their own DAUGHTER well enough to know that these kinda talks about working for your future don't motivate me even a slightest micrometre?
Things that motivate me: MY FANDOM.
When you have parents that don't understand you at ALL, yet believes, "Oh, I know my daughter SOOO well! I'm 100% certain I'm the only parent in the entire world who COMPLETELY understands my child!"...
You really want to just either kill them in their sleep or jump off the highest cliff available.
I vote the former.

So, yes, I can't go to Cosfest.

If anyone gets me something from Cosfest, I shall be eternally indebted to you. T_T
