Another combined status report!
Week 9 and Week 10 AKA THIS WEEK TOGETHER!!

Monday 1 March:
First day of the months shouldn't be allowed to be so retarded.
What happened:
I tripped down the stairs at the science block leading to the canteen.
Lucky it was the bottom few stairs, meaning it was the last 2 steps.
But I sprained my ankle nonetheless .______.
Pathethic.
It still hasn't healed yet.
Yeah yeah and they always say that you should grab opportunities by the neck and don't let them go, or something like that.
So I went back home.
And had the following conversation with my dad.
Me: -super dramatically when am I never?- "THIS IS A DIVINE SIGN FROM THE HEAVENS! THE GODS ARE SENDING ME A MESSAGE! THEY'RE TELLING ME NOT TO GO FOR THE CAMP!!" (by which I'm referring to the Media Club camp)
Dad: "You can walk, right?"
Me: "Um. Maybe? Maybe not?"
Dad: "You're going anyway."
Me: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! HOW COULD YOU! YOU SHOULDN'T IGNORE MESSAGES FROM THE GODS THEMSELVES!!!!!"
So yeah, I got forced to go in the end. We already paid the camp fee anyways.

Tuesday 2 March:
How do I put this?
I'm helping a very pro person with her personal project. By that I mean she allowed me to help, and not like I forced her to let me help.
And I reemphasize, PRO person.
And it's a rather big project, if I may say.
As for what it is, exactly...

So umm yeah.
As a helper, I must give feedback, suggestions, assistance, etc, yeah?
I gave a total of... 4 suggestions, which may not seem like a lot, but she approved of them all, is seriously considering 2, and out of those 2, EVERYONE else involved in the project LOVES MY IDEA.
As in, they really, really, really like it.
They're all telling her to put that idea into the project.
And it's not like... a MINOR idea, not really.
I feel so honored, yes!
I'm supposed to feel honored, 10 people or so love my idea!!
Is that a major accomplishment in the life of Claire or what?

Nothing much.

Thursday 4 March:
Haix there should be a limit as to how clumsydumb a person is allowed to get.
I tripped over my own feet (again) and stabbed my leg with the edge of my art file.

My file is hard, mind you.
Pain.
MY leg had this deep MARK for days and the skin peeled off and I think there was a tiny bit of blood wth.
I wonder exactly how deep did I stab myself?
Gina now agrees I'm severely accident-prone.

Maths lesson, a butterfly/moth, (I'm inclined to believe moth, but don't moths only come out at night?) invaded our classroom and everyone fell into chaos.
Except me and Gina, it seems, cos Gina was drawing and I was like ooooh not pretty at all.
Girls were screaming left, right and centre, and since 304 has 30 girls and 14 guys, imagine 28 SUPREMELY HIGH-PITCHED SCREAMS COMING FROM ALL DIRECTIONS.
And one right next to you left ear.
My ear shall never be the same again.
14 guys being... unneccessarily loud, meaning that they're being loud just to be heard, which is pretty pointless, really.
Mr Lee eventually decided THIS CANNOT GO ON FOUL MOTH/BUTTERFLY, DON'T INTERRUPT MISS HOR'S (our trainee teacher) LESSON so he took our class broom and smacked the moth/butterfly with it.
Like a fly-swatter.
And thus the poor foolish moth/butterfly's life ended so.
It looked damn epic when Mr Lee smacked it okay.

Friday 5 March:
I think my body is trying to kill me or something.
On the way back from PE, which I managed to pon cos I told Miss Seetoh I sprained my ankle.
Actually I can do minor excercise, but I was lazy.
I tripped down the stairs AGAIN.
From the FOURTH FLOOR, NO LESS.
And this time from the VERY TOP OF THE FLIGHT OF STAIRS.
Oh joy.

End of it all, Group 8 (in other words, Terence and I) got labelled, 'the quietest group of all', in the negative way.
WE WERE TOO DAMN UNLEADERLY COS WE WERE TOO BACKGROUNDY.
In fact I think Eunice was more like OUR leader. o___o
Our mentors admit it.
But then again they said Eunice is the super loud type, so it'd be awesome if we actually emerged 'more leaderly' than her, cos even THEY can't make her be quiet.

FFXII. NOWS.

I obtained pretty good names for some of my characters for whatever manga I'm gonna draw from... Guess, cos you'll never guess.

I'm serious.
Or rather, shades of colors.
Some of them are in other languages, but I don't know what.

Apparently, according to my mother, I fell asleep while playing my DS.
(Good thing I managed to turn off my DS before I did, as I found out the next morning.)
AND, according to her, I was smiling in my sleep and going ehehehehe nonstop, and there was one point where I went, "...(she couldn't hear properly) ro-sama ..."
Think, who is the one and only person I fangirl over so much I actually address him as -SAMA?
Considering the fact that I was smiling and ehehe-ing and saying his name out loud I wonder what exactly I was dreaming of Mukuro-sama.
I can't remember what I was dreaming of, ya see. o-o
I half want to know, and half don't, cos it sounds ... suspicious.
Then again I could have just been dreaming of him shirtless for all the heck I know.
Still, that is kinda... perverted. Dreaming of shirtless guys isn't exactly the most 'pure' thing in the world...

Wednesday 10 March:
Yee Yen asked me to draw on her sketchbook, which I did.
Kind of an honor, friend or not, although I find it kinda strange.
I mean, aren't you supposed to draw on your own sketchbook? o_o
Ahem, so I did a drawing of Rai, cos Yee Yen liked my chibi of him on my table at school when she and Li Wen invaded my classroom during recess.
With colors.
And I passed her book back to her today, meaning 15 March.
By the way, in case anyone is wondering who Rai is.
I finally named my OCs.

I mean, don't get me wrong, Clement and the other seniors are nice to me, in fact for some reason, maybe it's just me, but they seem to treat the people who don't drag their butts slightly better.
As in, they ask about us when they think we're not feeling so well, (like when I sprained my ankle, thanks for the concern, seniors! XD) and they don't actually go mega scolding-fest at us, at least not as much.
BUT AHKHSJKHUIE CLAIRE ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR WEIRD REACTIONS.

I just realized and I mean JUST realized on the day that we were supposed to pass up our Chinese ATT itself (Friday)...
That I never even got down to reading the paper about how we were supposed to do our ATT.
I was like, freak, I'm gonna die.
Until our teacher himself forgot to collect it.

Chinese lesson, more of major slack fest than anything, seriously.
Zoey brought this Baby the Pooh stuffed toy to school (or maybe it was a present?), and me, Methasit and Isabel were discussing the genders of all the Hundred Acre Wood animals XD
At one point, Methasit pointed out something.
Why is it Winnie the POOH and not Winnie the BEAR?
I mean, Piglet is a permanent piglet.
Tigger is a tiger.
Eeyore is, according to Methasit, named after the sound donkeys make, hee haw, which sounds like Eeyore.
And so on.
So why is Pooh a pooh when it's a bear?????
Oh and Isabel's logic about Pooh's gender:
"It's a girl! Winnie is a girl's name, so why is she a boy??"
Uhm, the company really needs to rethink its naming of Pooh.

Wu laoshi showed us this super damn dramatically epically funny video.
Sadly I can't remember what it's called, but it's seriously super funny.

I checked the date, and he got it super right.
And he kept ranting about Dynasty Warriors in detail, like about the characters and the background behind the plot etc.

Saturday 13 March:
Kaiji with Fish and Pearl.
Am I the only one who thought the plot was unbelievably awesome?
Totally tear-worthy at the electrified beams part.
OMG the old man Kaiji was friends with.
OMG KENICHI.
My heart breaks.
I thought they didn't really resolve the ending though, and I was like, uhh what about the bad guys?!
Endo should drop dead. The last part when she ran off with all of Kaiji's money when he promised to give some to the man's daughter.
Kinda touching how he still gave her whatever small amount of money he was left with though, and her father's ticket.
I actually started to like Light after that, even though, technically, he isn't Light.
Which reminds me, why does Light's actor get to act all the smart people?!
Light ---> genius
Kaiji ---> a bit of a dumb dumb guy, but pretty VERY smart when he tries.
I need some of his intelligence.

And the birthday of Claire's tablet.
In an attempt to save time so I can have more time to practice using my tablet, I shall copy paste whatever I typed in my dA journal.
True to my promise to myself of 3 years, I finally got myself a TABLET!
...Finally.
...After 3 years.
Um.
Oh well what matters is that I got it, right?!
RIGHT?!
A-Ahem.
So yes, I got my tablet.
Next up, gotta master it.
I mean, no point having a tablet if you don't know how to use it, right?
Step 2, improve my drawing.
Step 3, when I'm FINALLY convinced I can draw well enough...

So there. Goals for the... I would say year, but I highly doubt I'd be able to do that all in a year, so I'll say future.

Side goal: Make fanart to sell? When my art is better, no duuuh. Gotta earn back my... whaddya call it? Capital?

Okay, into the details.
Tablet Model: Bamboo Pen and Touch, size S.
Color: Black.
I'd originally planned to get Bamboo Fun, size M, but turns out they don't stock it anymore cos that model's ancient.
And I couldn't afford size M. It was like, 300 bucks, and I only had 200+ at my disposal.
I was expecting to buy Bamboo Fun ya see. Which is, according to the phamplet I got last year, $259.
So I settled for S.
But it's not minute, cos without the mouse now (you can navigate with your FINGER 8D) ya get a heck lot more space.
And since it's a newer model, it's a heck lot more pressure sensitive.
Something extremely cool I found out about 'a heck lot more pressure sensitive'.
By just letting your pen HOVER a short distance off the drawing area, you can actually WRITE.
Meaning, the tablet can sense the pen even if it doesn't touch the drawing area.
COOL.

Adding extra stuff to my journal, I have a free 3 hour lesson with FZD School of Design to teach me how to draw with my tablet :D
I should check when the lesson dates are.
