Term 1 Week 5 Status Report!
Minus Monday AKA 1 February 2010 cos that's already in my previous post. So. Monday: Previous post. Tuesday: Let's just say I did something totally stupid. -facepalm- -double facepalm- Okay, so there's my Bio teacher. Name's Mr Lee Foo Yong. And there's ANOTHER teacher, an English teacher, AND THANK YOU GOD OR WHOEVER IT IS UP THERE THAT HE'S NOT MY ENGLISH TEACHER THIS YEAR, OR OH THE HORROR. His name is Mr Kelvin Cheng. Kelvin Cheng WHAT, I DON'T KNOW. Point being is that he's Mr Kelvin Cheng. For some reason, Mr Lee and Mr Cheng look DAMN ALIKE. Too alike to be true. I'M SERIOUS. They must have been twins separated at birth or something. Identical twins. In fact during first lesson of the year when we saw Mr Lee, me and Jin Hui's reactions were: "...Does Mr Cheng... have a brother?" "A TWIN brother...?" "Why they look so alike sia." But I digress. So! It happens that there's a Bio test on that day, AKA Tuesday 2 Feb. Naturally, being ME, I DON'T STUDY. Until the day itself anyway. So I was chionging the topics. And I checked the timetable before I started to study, so I know Bio is after recess. Upcoming period: English. I think you can guess where this is going, but ANYWAYS! So there I was, studying~ And getting so totally A teacher walks in~ Didn't see who~ Too distracted~ Everyone suddenly stands up~ Jin Hui taps me on the shoulder~ I look up~ And see what my brain registers as Mr Lee. I SWEAR THEY LOOK TOO MUCH ALIKE TO BE COINCIDENTALLY TRUE. And being my totally unconsciously-overly-dramatic, must-loudly-voice-out-everything-in-my-mind, act-first-don't-even-bother-thinking-later self... I actually automatically JUMPED UP... SLAMMED MY HANDS ON MY TABLE... POINTED A FINGER AT SAID TEACHER, WITH ARM OUTSTRETCHED NO LESS... AND ACTUALLY SHOUTED LOUDLY... "EH NOW BIO MEH?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And I didn't even realise what I did. Serious. Until I noticed everyone staring at me... And that 'Mr Lee' was glaring super dangerously at me full-power... That my brain went... "HOSHIT IT'S MR CHENG NOT MR LEE!!!!!! DIE LE LA!!!!!" Naturally Mr Cheng murdered me. Apparently Ms Lim was off and he was doing relief duty for her. This, peoples, is a TRUE story. Do not do this in school. Anyways, even if it WAS Mr Lee I would have died anyway. Wednesday: Let's just I got damn pissed at Lionel during CCA. About what, it doesn't matter. I just got, simply put, super pissed. Thanks Wen Zhi and brown Magic Stick for cheering me up~ XDDDDD Although actually all we did was shoot the magic stick around and fight for it like how we did for the Leadership Camp flag. Sometimes, I really remind myself too much of a damn cat. Throw me something to play with and my mood does a 180 degrees. My spaceyness never fails to amaze me. Me: -messing about with magic stick before going off to practice setting up Hall setup, AKA pissed with Lionel thing- -presses stick all the way down to end (which makes the stick shoot out to max length again if you let go, or fly if you don't hold tightly enough)- -spaces out and accidentally releases stick- Magic Stick: -flies and hits Zhi Zhong in the thigh SUPER near the -beep!- area- Zhi Zhong: -looks at me- Me: -looks at Zhi Zhong- "Ah." Zhi Zhong: "Auuuurrrghhh!" -pretends to hold -beep!-- Me: "我不是故意做的---!!!!" After setup and packup. Me: -thinks- Should I turn off the Hall Control light? I think I turn off bah. -flips ALL the switches on panel- -whole hall turns black- Me: -thinks- Why so dark sia. -sees Jonathan while going down stairs- Jonathan: "WHY YOU TURN OFF ALL THE LIGHTS!" Me: "Eh I thought must turn Hall Control lights after exiting room?" Jonathan: "You turned off ALL the lights!" Me: "Huh?" Jonathan: "YOU TURNED OFF THE HALL LIGHTS AS WELL!!" Me: -finally realises- "I'M SO SORRY!!!!!" ...Actually, the last one is more of DUMB than spacey... Claire, just, go take a dip in a lake. A PERMANANT dip in the lake. Better yet, go take said permanant dip in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Thursday: Chinese test: Mr Tang used such CHIM WORDS I COULDN'T EVEN READ THEM NEVERMIND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS SURE FAIL. AGAIN. Duty for the dunno what Majong competition. Of which, I was the IC. SOMEHOW. Whose idea was it to make me the IC anyways?!! Anyways. Claire = IC. So near the end, Clement went behind me. And was like, Claire face the front and don't turn around. Me: ???????????? THEN CLEMENT FRIGGEN STOLE MY CLIP RAWR I was like MY CLIP!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOS!!!!!! Clement: "Okay, packup. If you don't finish within 5 minutes I throw your clip away." Obviously he won't throw my clip away, but NOT POSSIBLE LAH!!!!! I mean, One freight case 2 Yamahas 2 Speaker stands 2 Wired Mics A lot of wires KEEP EVERYTHING WITHIN 5 MINUTES, WHICH INCLUDES BRINGING THEM ALL OVER TO THE AVA STORE AND SIGNING THEM BACK IN?!!! Not to mention the horrendous door with the even more horrendous lock that none of us can open. Someone ought to change the lock. So, obviously, timing failed. So after signing in I went to Clement and demanded my clip. More accurately... Me: "Clip please." Clement: "I threw it away." Me: -stares- Clement: ... Me: -stareeeees- Clement: ... Me: -staaaaareeees- Clement: "It's on your bag." Me: "Kays." So after I retrieved my clip, I discovered, oh HORROR! One tooth was missing! Yeah I'm using butterfly clip. Just to clip my hair behind my left ear. So I was like, Clement, did you break my clip? He didn't. But I think he was super guilty. Cos he kept insisting on paying me back for the clip. And I kept refusing, cos to me... Clip = still usable, why get new one? (in other words, I don't care.) Friday: Related to above. Clement came to ask me about the clip again. I kept insisting it was all cool. Clement kept insisting to pay me back. I eventually shooed him away. Me: -realises- "I think I'm making him feel even more guilty by refusing to let him pay him back." Wen Zhi: "Actually, you should make him even MORE guilty. You should have gone NOOOO MY CLIP WHY DID YOU BREAK IT WHYYYY!!!!!" Me: "...Didn't think of that." Wen Zhi: "You should have done that." Me: "Eh, but I'm not that evil." Wen Zhi: "You ARE evil." Me: "True. But not THAT evil." Must JY for tomorow(Tuesday) duty!!! Seems like a pretty big event... '0' Try not to mess anything up manz. JY Claire, you can do it if you try! YEAHHHH!!!! Saturday and Sunday: Nothin much. Today AKA Monday 8 Feb: Nothing, but oh my gosh. MS LIM SCOLDED (AND SWORE AT US NO LESS!!!) FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE TEACHING US, OR ME AT LEAST, FOR ONE YEAR, FIVE WEEKS AND ONE DAY!!! She said 'bloody hell' and 'damn' quite a few times. -hugs Mukuro-sama plushie and trembles in fear- Ms Lim is scary. When she wants to be. The boys have really set a record this time. But seriously, they talk too much. Noisy. Other non-animey stuffs: 1. MY HAIR IS GETTING SPIKY AGAIN GAH!!!!!!! Seriously, will it KILL the same usual bit of hair at the back to please just stop SPIKING OUT?!!!! It seems that no matter how many times I cut it, it grows back after a week. 2. Seems like there're some people in CCA who don't like me. No idea why. Must have been something I said while I was distracted. Still, DEFINITELY didn't say anything offending, since I'm not witty enough to actually offend people. Big question mark, then. Doesn't matter to me though. Cos I don't care what people think of me as long as I don't hate them. Actually, I don't care even if I do hate them. And I very rarely ever hate people with a passion anyways. I mean, to me, if you hate me, I don't stand to lose anything. I'm neutral to you right? But if you hate me, then YOU actually stand to lose, cos that's one less friendly person to you. It's a nice logic I love by. But, that's kinda petty and childish, ya know. I'm standing in the doorway, just enjoying the nice wind, Not even blocking your way, And you just come up to me, act like I'm blocking your way and should roll out the red carpet for you, Say the F word at me, Act all high and mighty then walk off. Hah? I didn't even SAY anything to you. Or even glance at you for that matter. Agh, enough of that. I don't like talking about anything negative about people behind their back anyways. It's kinda cowardly, yeah. I'd rather say it to your face. So, I'm just going to ignore you, cos you're just ONE human in my boringly normal life anyway~~ It's not like I'm going to die if you guys don't like me, ne? Animey stuffs: 1. I'm done with 07-GHOST~~ Both the manga(to latest) and anime(to Season 1). One word: LOVE~~~~ It's so sweet I'm going to explode~~ Uhh, you did not just hear me say that. The story and EVERYTHING's awesome. Yeaaah. Okay, but to amend my previous post... So those stuff did happen in the manga too... -looks away shiftily- About the choker, and uhh... t-the shounen-ai... -pokes fingers together- So, umm, yeah... And, uhh... I support, uhhh... UHHH.... F-Frau X Tei-Teito... Don't get me wrong, it's for your own good that you don't know what I support... J-Just know that someone is about to get sued. I find it amusing how so many people seem to think that Capella is either Frau and Teito's kid, or that he got kidnapped by Frau. Still, you must admit, Capella looks like a super young and duper innocent blond-haired Teito. ...I-I'm not thinking of anything, you must understand... Anime Season 2, please hurry up and release~~ 2. I noticed something a few days ago... I'M A FRIGGEN TSUNDERE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I compared myself to traits commonly linked with them... And then, while watching one of the 07-GHOST anime episodes, I kinda noted that Teito's kind of a Tsundere. Then realised he's behaving exactly how I do, actually. I was like FREAK I'M A TSUNDERE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other random stuffs: YOO HOO! PEARL AND FISH!! You guys free to come my house on Chinese New Year? Pref. Tuesday, but I THINK Monday morning to afternoon is fine too? COME MY HOUSE DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: Otherwise I very sian. This Chinese New year I'm gonna be stuck at home a lot. Going anime CD shopping with Gina next Wednesday(?) XDDDD Yay for half days. Which reminds me, this Friday should be a half day too. Hope there's no CCA. TERM 1 WEEK 4 : STATUS REPORT!!
Although seriously, I can't remember much about this week. .___. Probably because I didn't write any ranty crap in my handbook. Yes, I DO write status report-material in my handbook. So there. Monday: Forgot. Tuesday: Forgot. Wednesday: What can I say... Seriously suay. WTH. Cos I had to chiong 8, yes EIGHT E-I-G-H-T art pieces in one night AGAIN on Tues night. AND naturally didn't manage to finish them all on time. Result: Wed morning woke up: "GAAAAAAAAH MY ART HW HO SHIT DAMN HELL MS KOH IS GOING TO MURDER ME SO HARD I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN GAAAAAAAAAAAH" Turned out Toylene didn't manage to complete as well (and she had less work than me) so we puppy eyed Ms Koh and she gave us an extension to Friday. =_= Was freaking out so much I completely forgot that Even Week Wednesdays = have to stay in school for lunch before CCA. Meaning: FORGOT TO PACK MEDIA CLUB SHIRT. So in the span of less than 20 mins, I had to run home dragging my damn heavy bag, grab my shirt, change, and run like mad all the way back to school again. And I must have beat the Claire's record because I got to school at 2.45 PM. MEANING THAT I DID ALL THE ABOVE (including the time for me to eat a London Choco Roll as lunch) WITHIN 5 MINUTES GAH?!!! I could have slowly taken my time dammit!!! Haix nevermind, here's to me getting the top ten in my 2.4km again, hopefully. What else contributed to the suay? Permanant bad pen luck. Nuff said. Forgot my Chinese idioms book. AND. The one I puked my guts out the most of all. Don't ask me why, but for SOME reason, some genius decided it would be nice to label all the pages in the student's handbook with 'D -insert a number here-'. PAGE NUMBER FOR TERM ONE WEEK FOUR MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY PAGE: D48. I saw it by accident, guess what my brain registered it as, it's pretty easy to guess. IMMEDIATELY I went to find the page labelled D6-cencored!-, crossed it out with a black marker, and the rest's history. Naturally I didn't forget to apologise to Mukuro-sama... Quoth my writing: "NOOO!! I'M SORRY MUKURO-SAMA FOR CROSSING OUT YOUR NAME BUT IT MUST BE DONE TO PROTECT YOUR DIGNITY!!! TT.TT" Thursday: Maths test sucked, so there. What's up with all the Art Dino-san references?! We have to draw a sketch of a DINOsaur. And do a shading of a HORSE. BUCKING BRONCO DINO(-san). Art, should I hate you or not? Argh, and Ms Koh got seriously ticked off at art cos we didn't follow her instructions. Not like we didn't try... She got the most ticked at me though cos she couldn't understand why the heck are all my drawing lines so fat and thick. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY EITHER!!!!! @____@ I WANT THIN LINES TOO BUT ALL OF THEM JUST TURN OUT FAT!!!!! Claire's personal drawing style, I hate you. Go away and never come back. Note, I'm not chasing away my ability to draw, but my drawing STYLE. Tuition: pathetic. I nobly gave up my Tuesday class for the week for the Thursday one, cos my art would have seriously died if I hadn't. DEAD BORING. I'M GLAD I'M USUALLY IN TUESDAY CLASS!!!! As long as that idiot gatecrasher doesn't well, GATECRASH US AGAIN. GOSH HE IS SO SERIOUSLY ANNOYING!!!!!! Keeps crapping about being a man and all that shit. SERIOUSLY, WE DON'T CARE. And always saying he'll complain to his father. So last lesson... Idiot: "I complain too my father then you know okay!" Teacher: "... You everytime keep saying you're a man, right?" Idiot: "That's right." Teacher: "You man then you still complain to...?" I laughed like mad. My teacher FTW. Friday: I discovered in CCA that more seniors are visiting my blog. O___o; On Wednesday Hwee Kiang told me he saw my blog... And then on Friday Ye An told me he accidentally saw my blog also. o____O; My blog seems to be getting popular. We were just sitting on the tables (me, it's kinda a habit) and chairs slacking cos it was supposed to be Games Day but it was friggen Lightning Alert so we were sooooo sian. Then Ye An came along and was like... Ye An: "..." Me: "... -attempting failed attempts to whistle again-" Ye An: "... Thanks." Me: "Eh? o____o; Oh... kay?" Ye An: "..." Me: "..." Ye An: "..." Me: "..." Ye An: "..." Me: "... ... What for?? o____o?" Ye An: "..." Me: "...?" Ye An: "..." Me: "...????" Ye An: "...For being to enthusiastic." Me: "Uhh... Okay??" Ye An: "No seriously it means a lot." Me: "Uhhh..." Yes, there were a lot of dot dots. Is being enthu something to be like praised for? O____O Just being Claire and all. Then again we aren't exactly the most enthu CCA ever. Didn't say no nothing. In the end we weren't left with a lot of non-Lightning Alert time so the seniors came up with the idea of hiding ice cream sticks all over the school and having us go on a mad search for them :D Which may sound lame, but is quite a bit of fun. Groups consist of AVA, Photo AND Video. IT... is MIA. Our aisu kuri-mu stick color: Yellow~~ And we're free to pick up the light brown (plain) sticks as well. Yellow: 2 points Plain: 1 point Overall, after the mad search: Results: SECOND PLACE!! Yeaahhh. Reward: 2 Fruit Plus. Each. 1st group: 3 FP. Others: 1 FP. The last group was super funny. They had a decent amount of points, but because they were like 11 minutes late or something similar (-1 point every min late) they ended up with like only 5 points or so. Ah, and the story of my poor demented Green Apple Fruit Plus. I was opening the packet. Sweet was a little melted, so it stuck to the wrapper. Naturally = hard to open. So Claire used force! And suddenly POP!! Out sailed the Fruit Plus... And landed on the floor. Damn. I was like MY GREEN APPLE FRUIT PLUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -cries tears of sorrow- -ignores stares from onlookers- Left with only one Blackcurrent, which I have eaten enough times to feel bored of. I ate it anyway, cos I'm a good person. Saturday: The awesome SOY BEAN! But actually, it was pretty small. Not like what I expected. WELL IT'S STILL GOOD AND AWESOME! Not a lot of pictures though. Hmm... Don't brick me. Headcount: Me, Pearl, Gina, Grace, Li Wen, her friend (I forgot to ask for her name T.T) Interesting events: (I can't remember a lot though, cos no photos, and I need photos to remember. >< SORRY!) 1. PEARL AND I SAW A GUY WITH A PRINNY HAT!! SO CUTE!! Cue Prinny love. And we courageously asked him where he got it, cos I wanted one too. XDDDDDDDDDD Turned out his friend got it for him from Japan. TT.TT Sorry Claire, no Prinny hat for you. 2. The competitions' hosts were damn funny. Seriously. They were cosplaying Haruhi and Tamaki from Ouran, and they were acting kind of in-character super amusingly. Hosts, you are FTW. 3. SGdeviantmeet 'hosts' were also super damn funny. Cue a lot of Star Wars-ness, and two people our age going to BUY Allen's Crown Clown and another sword (I forgot what) just to swordfight in the room. ROFLMAO. That, is pure win. 4. Looking for something to spend my last ten buckers on. Choice: a) Mukuro-sama long poster b) YOUNG! Dino-san and YOUNG! Squalo-san long poster On one hand, naturally my fangasm was screaming at me to get Mukuro-sama. But Dino-san and Squalo-san were too damn cute too. I turned away from the stall for FIVE MINUTES TO SCISSORS PAPER STONE DECIDE WITH PEARL. Re-emphasize: FIVE MINUTES. I won. Mukuro-sama it is. Turned back. Me: "OMGWTF WHERE'S MUKURO-SAMA?!!!!!!!!" -turns to side- -sees someone paying for it- Me: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUKURO-SAMA I HAVE LET YOU DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pearl: "I guess the posters decided for you." TT0TT Claire, just go throw yourself off a building eres pronto. Term 1 Week 5 MONDAY REPORT Just because. Guess what. Today English: Finished my class work fast again. So I was drawing on my table (more accurately, majong paper put on top on table) So Ms Lim ambushed me. I didn't even see her coming. Ms Lim: "Hmm, Claire, fast as usual." Me: "!!!!!!!" Ms Lim: "Hmm... it seems that you are really good at drawing... animated characters... -conscious effort not to say 'anime' cos it's ENGLISH class-" Me: "Uhh, thanks... o____o;" Ms Lim: "Oh, I like this one." -points at 6996 drawing- Me: "(MUSTNOTSQUEALMUSTNOTSQUEALMUSTNOTSQUEAL)" OAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAO;; Anime stuffs: Pearl, I've sent you the song link! :D 07-GHOST chapter 14, but I'm gonna restart cos I left such a long break between reading (few months, cos I forgot my chapter T.T) so I forgot all that happened in the front, besides super key things. 07-GHOST episode 10 Ah, on the anime. 07-GHOST PRODUCERS, STOP GODDAMN FEEDING THE YAOI FANGIRLS! Episode 2 preview (about Teito escaping and refusing Mikage's help cos he doesn't want to get him in trouble) : ... to protect the one he loves ... Episode 9 or 8 (before Mikage died) : (to Teito) I love you. Claire: -falls off chair nosebleeding to death- WHAT A STRAIGHTFORWARD CONFESSION!!!!! And they're hinting Frau X Teito already at episode 9 too?!!! Castor: "Because you made a pact with each other (Teito with Frau, by accident), if you don't see each other within every 48 hours, the choker will explode. ^^" THAT NEVER HAPPENED IN THE MANGA!!!!! -facepalm- Oh, the horror. Due to my tendency to end up supporting canon... Producers, if I end up supporting Mikage X Teito / Frau X Teito, it's all your fault and I WILL sue you for it, for the record. Fish, ignore this entire 07-GHOST rant, or I will bite you to death. But Mikage's reincarnation is DAMN CUTE. What else can I say. And the episodes 8 and 9 are super touching. I actually cried. Tear-worthy. Or am I just a sap that cries for ANYTHING animey that's moving? But really, damn touching. Cry-wipe-cry-wipe-cry-wipe, on repeat. CLAIRE'S TERM 1 WEEK 3 STATUS REPORT!
...Is this gonna become a weekly thing...? Monday! Bio class. EPIC WIN. Mr Lee is damn funny. If only he could be our chem teacher as well, cos let's face it. MR CHEW SUCKS MAJOR TIME. But I digress. You know the Talk to the Hand thing? Some girls asked to go to the toilet. In between the time frame they went, he told us about the Talk to The Hand thing, which I knew about even before he told us. So he was like... Mr Lee: -jabs hand at Mabelline- TALK TO THE HAND! ... Hmm, not cool enough. Maybe if I add a mouth... -draws a spastic mouth on hand with whiteboard marker- What do you guys think? -one girl comes back from toilet, forgot who- Mr Lee: Talk to the hand! -shows hand to her- Girl: ! O____O; ?? Mr Lee: Aiya, not acceptable. Reaction not nice enough. Okay, then maybe I draw eyes... -draws 2 O's above mouth- Oh wait, still need pupils. -adds a dot into each O- There. -Shan Yi comes back from toilet- Mr Lee: -VERY suddenly and violently shows hand to Shan Yi- TALK TO THE HAND!! Shan Yi: -practically gets shocked out of her wits half to death, no duh, you don't return from toilets expecting your bio teachers to TALK TO THE HAND you- Mr Lee: Ah, much better. And that's not all manz. He teaches in a very... interesting and anusing way. Not to mention his weird terms. Quite easily. I want him to teach me next year too! And can we replace Mr Chew with Mrs Ng? Tuesday! My bro's friends came over and made so much damn noise. I could hear them CLEARLY over my iPod. Wednesday! I managed to finish FIVE big art works in the span of 2 hours. Note that I did them at my best too. Good right? Not really. See Thursday. Thursday! Art class. My homework sucked. But Ms Koh was just too nice to say it outright. She just said, "Claire, I don't want to give you low marks so early in the year, so would you please take your work back and shade it properly again?" -hinthint- Maybe because I didn't have 6B pencils for shading. She was like, "Claire, did you use 6B pencil?" Me: "Eh, no, cos I haven't bought them yet..." Ms Koh: "I'm going to keeeeeeel you." (half joking tone) Me: "EEP! XD" Eh, but she taught me how to use my camera properly. Ms Koh: "Ah, this camera, my husband also has it. It..." Me: "Is ancient." Ms Koh: "Has the BEST Micro Mode I've ever seen." Me: "O____O Serious." There should be a limit as to how stupid a day is allowed to get. I got back home from school at 3. Not sleepy at all. Sat on bed to slack. For SOME reason, suddenly fell asleep. With my speccies on. Woke up to discover that I accidentally crushed the sides of my NEW specs while asleep. .________. BOTH sides. SOMEHOW. I was sleeping straight on my back mind you, not sideways. And both sides were like... Hanging by a thiiiin coating of plastic. Which obviously fell off very quickly. Needless to say, my parents gave me hell when they found out. Friday! CCA Mentor-Mentee system was awesome and fun XD I was a mentee, no duh, cos my skills suck BIG TIME! XD I learnt quite a few things though. Originally, I was stuck with this guy I seriously don't know because I've never seen him around before. And because he went off to slack and went MIA for the rest of the CCA session. I got stuck with Hwee Kiang. Along with Yong Keat and some Sec 4 guy, I really can't remember his name, cos I'm seriously suck at names. Let's call him Guy A for the sake of non-confusion. Guy A's original mentor was Hwee Kiang, no changes there, Yong Keat was supposed to be a mentor but there weren't enough mentees to go around so he joined us. (And if you're wondering why a Sec 4 is a MENTEE, it's cos he only joined last year.) Guy A was super funny. Although I must wonder is that a good thing or not. It's like. He knows even less than I do. Humorously. Me, coiling wires, check. Him, non-check. Coiling wires, practically the MOST basic thing you have to know. We were revising wire coiling, and he couldn't coil. So Hwee Kiang asked me and Yong Keat to watch Guy A while he went to sign out some items for the next tutorial/revision. Guy A couldn't do it right. But, I understand his pain T_T I used to seriously suck at coiling too. First teaching session last year, with Ye An. So yeah he was teaching me to coil... Everytime I coiled he was like WRONG! Me: O.O WRONG MEH! Ye An: YES WRONG. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO COIL IT LIKE -demostrates- THIS. Me: THAT'S WHAT I DID! Ye An: YOU DIDN'T LA!! Seriously. Coiling wires major suck at first. In the end Hwee Kiang semi-gave up and moved on. Items: RCF (speaker), wired mic, power cable. This was the scenario. Hwee Kiang: You all know that you can connect the wired mic straight away into the RCF right? -3 of us nod- Hwee Kiang: Okay good. But nevermind, I demostrate to you anyway. Yong Keat, pass me the power cable. Yong Keat: -passes- Hwee Kiang: Okay I test you. Guy A, what you call this wire? -waves power cable- Guy A: -thinks- Umm, wire. Hwee Kiang: I JUST SAID THE ANSWER! Hwee Kiang: OH MY GOD!!!!!! -tries not to strangle Guy A- Guy A was being DEAD SERIOUS no less. After that I think Isaac heard Hwee Kiang screaming so he came over. He was like, why got 3 people with you?! Hwee Kiang told him the situation, and about Guy A. Isaac decided that since Guy A now needs special attention, and since now there's one mentee to go around (AKA me) HEY WHY NOT THROW YONG KEAT AND CLAIRE TOGETHER! So off I went with Yong Keat, who is actually a pretty good mentor even though we're the same age, although I would have preferred Hwee Kiang cos seriously, being menteed with Guy A would doubtlessly bring a heck lot of amusement. So we went BYE! Me: 两个孩子离开你了。 Cos before the entire Power wire thing Hwee Kiang was like Celine! 你看！我有三个孩子leh! Overall, FUN. And guess what when I came back from school my specs miraculously fixed themselves! :D Apparently my dad went over to the specs shop while I was in CCA. Saturday! Art compulsory Basically, went around Raffles Place and Millenia Walk area to see sculptures. Raffles Place Sculpture One: No comment. Other than the fact that I hate it to death for being insanely hard to draw. Raffles Place Sculpture Two: The fat bird at SG River. My sketch of birdy equals SEVERELY OVERWEIGHT FAT BIRD NUFF SAID. Raffles Place Sculpture Three: New...ton? O_O Titled, 'Inspired by Newton'. Now, seriously, that's such a creative title manz. And 'Newton' was... naked. ._____. Did Newton discover Gravity in the nude I wonder? Good thing we didn't have to draw this. Raffles Place Sculpture Four: Drawing, 2 words. PURE MURDER. WTF. Do you KNOW how many tiny details there were on the thing?!! And the proportions were suuuupeeer hard to get right. Ah. And while sitting on the floor trying not to get sunburnt/blinded/blown away by freaking strong winds to death, there was this building. People were washing said building's windows. Like, spray water washing, not take cloth and scrub windows washing. And the freaking wind was so strong all of us got MAJOR wet by droplet sprays. Like... Me: -taking photos of statue- -suddenly feels water on hand- O_O Raining? -looks at statue- OMGWTF WHY IS IT SNOWING?!!! (Cos the sun shining super strongly on droplets make it super obvious and seriously look like snow.) And... All of us, were sitting on ground doodling. AND THE WATER DROPLETS KEPT SPLASHING ON US. MAJOR SPLASHING. Define 'major': Li Wen had to redo her drawing of the statue 3 TIMES. I was hiding behind my file so my drawing didn't fare too badly but wth. Eventually all of us were like ARGH FORGET IT, NO MORE MOTIVATION TO DRAW, GO HOME THEN DRAW LA. Just before we went off, they stopped washing the windows. ._______. Millenia Walk!: Had to pass through CityLink. Throughout our journey, Li Wen and I kept discussing animey stuff, and SOY. (She's going SOY YEAAAAAAH) I forgot what we were discussing that led to the bottom conversation, but. Li Wen: I don't wanna spend too much money now, later next week no money for SOY, I cry. SAID MP3 PLAYER IS DAMN HARD TO USE, STUPID, AND RIDICULOUS. I HATE IT TO HELL. At this rate I'd rather use a cassette player. And whatever the heck happened to the "Claire after the iPod spoils I'll get you a nice new MP3 player okay??" THIS IS NOT NEW AND IT MOST CERTAINLY IS NOT NICE. Then she says after THIS spoils she'll get me a new one. I'll bet after this spoils she'll pull a random ancient MP3 player out of nowhere and tell me to use it first. I hate Apple, officially. Claire's official Status Report on Week 2 of Term 1, 2010~~~!!
-insert one of my usual dramatic poses- 1. We finally get proper lessons! That's not a very good thing tho. 2. I hereby conclude Art is mad. We hafta spend a TOOOON of bucks on special art materials, and que a compulsory self-fieldo trippo (field trip) of doom to NAFA AND LASELLE tomorow with Toylene, all in the span of 5 hours or so(?). Don't forget the homework. 3. My Chinese class is dead boring. 4. My Chem teacher suck BIG TIME. 5. I miss 201'09 already. 6. Our class tee. Is. Freaking. PINK. 7. No one wanted my design AT ALL. Literally. But Claire must cheer, yes! Cuz I refuse to let my design go on a PINK shirt. I swear I'll find an excuse not to wear the shirt when we have to... Like it flew away from the pole when we hung it up to wash. Good one. 8. We have a WHOOOOOLE PILE of homeworkkkk... Define pile? Enough for me to spend an entire day working my butt off and still not be done. Homework: - Maths worksheet technically, X1 untechnically, X2. It's double-sided with diff. topics on each side. - Chem booklet pages something to something. At least 6 pages correct le. - 'ATT' Chem which requires computer research and loooooong lengthy explanations which aren't actually necessary. - One sketch of my hand with shading - 2 Blotchy drawings with shadings. (Explanation: art class, we took paint and splashed paint randomly all over paper to make a huge blob in the middle. Have to imagine what said blob looks like and draw it FROM the blob, X2 over 3.) Sounds little, but is a heck lot, cos the last 3 are super loooooong and bleh. DX Stupid homework... I bet they're all hurling themselves at me this week cos they know that SJ's back... Because they over-advertise Miku and neglect the fans of the other VOCALOIDS. Seriously. BTW, Miku's Act 2 clothes ARE DISGUSTING!!!! (Personal opinion) WTH SHE GLOWS SO MUCH IF YOU STICK HER IN A DARK ROOM IN THE NIGHT YOU WOULDN'T EVEN NEED A LIGHTBULB!!! HER HEADPHONES GLOW. HER RIBBONS GLOW. HER ARM WARMERS GLOW. But performance wise, now Miku doesn't sound so robotic. She sounds smoother. You'll have to listen to lots of VOCALOID songs to be able to tell though. Apparently, Rin Act 2 can pronounce words better, and Len sounds smoother and a LOT less robotic. Can't disagree with Len's one. It's pretty obvious. Okay, first week of school is over!
So I am here to do a status report, I declare. Claire's status: Has been dead since 07 20 AM on Monday, 4 January 2010, of course. Cause of death: First, burnt to death during a failed attempt to burn the school down using various pyrotechnics. Second, after being revived, was hauled of to class kicking and screaming and biting. Within 5 minutes of stepping into the classroom, died due to extreme boredom. Attempts to revive Claire without the use of Phoenix Downs were unsuccessful, especially since no one was equipped with pictures of droolingly hot anime guys. -gets slapped my a giant tuna- So, yeah. Dead, gone, with no hope of coming back. 'Tis my soul here, by the way. I love super chim-sounding words. Extra info, it HAS been Claire-rifically proven that you can drag Claires out of distraction why shoving pictures of hot anime guys in her face. And no, I shall not run and hide behind a bush while dying in shame. I say this loudly and proudly! Uh huh, so, throughout the week... (1) I've surrendered more than my entire week's worth of pocket money to Jun Ren/Class Treasurer for various stuff. Gotta collect back my moolah dammit. (2) I learnt how to unlock the accursed AVA Store, giga yes!! Sadly after I unlocked it I realised I couldn't lock it again and had to call for assistance. (3) My art class only has 4 students. -emos in corner- So quiet in class, siaaaaaan. I need some noise to surive lessons! (4) Our student handbook is so bright yellow my eyes hurt. KAMPAI TO SQUARE ENIX, WHO HAS OUTDONE THEMSELVES!!!! YOSH!!!!!!! Hmmhmm~ AAAALSO, recently started liking this series called To Aru Majutsu no Index. It's nice. Go read it/watch it. The songs are nice too, if it helps. And Accelerator + Last Order SOOOOOO PWNS. Like, AWESOME UNBEATABLE FTW. Yes +, not X. X is pedoness. It's like an official parody of the anime. And it's super funny, even if you may have no idea what's going on. Mega ranting session about EOY and more! :D
Super late I know >_> But better late than never hoho! Now just allow me several minutes to rack my brain (and make it smoke) while attempting to recall anything interesting that happened. Okay so when we bought the tickets (15 BUCKS OMGWTF EVEN AFA WAS MORE WORTH IT) they gave us this pamphlet about the stuff at EOY, and one of the last pages was a crossword. And I managed to complete like 80% in one shot XD Hoho This is what happens when you start watching anime at 4 years old. But we couldn’t complete the other 20% ‘cos the questions were either damn vague, or were Inuyasha and Prince of Tennis questions, and none of us watched/read said animemangas. But from circus-usagi’s journal, seems like the prize is 2 Kinokuniya vouchers worth 10 bucks each. Domokun cosplay!!! 8D He had flat hands. And there were 2 small rectangular holes cut out in the mouth area (for him to see I presume). But SOMEHOW when we took photos of him, the holes turned WHITE O___O I have yet to figure out how that happened, but I am deeply inclined to believe it was thanks to the work of my old nemesis, flash. AND LIKE, HOMYGOSH. THERE WERE FFXIII COSPLAYERS. Specifically, Lightning, Snow, Vanille and Hope. Which is like, damn cool, ‘cos the Japanese version was released only a few days ago. ALL OF THEM LOOKED SUPER IN-CHARACTER. SERIOUS. Lightning had the sorta D< look, Snow had the sorta confident look, Vanille was like, outgoing, and Hope was quiet-looking and ‘half-emo’. Which is like, EXACTLY LIKE THEIR PERSONALITIES. I’m not sure if they chose who to cosplay who based on the cosplayers’ personalities (which some people do, and that’s actually a pretty good tactic to look In-Character) or if they’re just damn good at cosplaying (I think it’s both, actually). But whatever the case, they are SUPER GOOD. And I found out from one of their dA’s later that there was supposed to be a Serah, but the cosplayer fell sick D: Poor cosplayer, but as for SERAH, let’s just say I’m glad, cos Serah is striking me as a Mary-Sue the more time passes. But anyways. First time I saw them, me and Pearl were wandering about looking for Fish and Yun Teng. I think I was talking to Fish on the phone or something. When I saw them I squeaked, threw my phone to Pearl, pulled out my camera and started snapping photos of Vanille and Snow, cos Lightning was talking on the phone, and Hope wandered off. And I did all of the above in one smooth movement O____O Then Lightning wandered off as well and I was like NOOOOO LIGHTNIIIIIIING~~ Good thing we saw them again later. Lightning, Snow and Vanille were posing together, and Hope wandered off AGAIN D< Then he came back for a while. So we asked whether all four of them could pose together. During the time we were asking Lightning, HOPE WANDERED OFF. AGAIN! And we were like, HOPE, WHERE’S HOPE?! Fish: “THERE IS NO HOPE 8DDD” Me: -raise eyebrows- O____O Turns out Hope was hiding behind Lightning talking on the phone. So we took photos. After I was done, I noticed there was this L cosplayer RIGHT BESIDE ME. VERY IN-CHARACTER-LY. I was like O___O!!! Then he turned and looked at me. I looked back at him. Then he still very In-Character-ly bowed and left. O_______O Talk about dedicated cosplayer. VONGOLA GUARDIANS WITH THEIR BOX WEAPONS, HO YEAH! AND LOOKING SUPER GOOD. OHOH AND PANDORA HEARTS COSPLAYERS~~ More accurately, Break and Chesire Cat cosplayers. They look real good. But I imagine it must be pretty hard for Chesire to walk about. I mean, what with the two bells dragging on the ground behind him. …And I wonder how Emily manages to stay on Break. Did he put super-glue or something? AWESOMELY DEDICATED MUKURO-SAMA COSPLAYER RETURNS!!!!! OH MY GOSH. Needless to say, I squeaked and took at least 15 photos of him in one shot. ROZEN MAIDEN COSPLAYERS!!!! What happened to Barasuishou and Kirakishou O___O Not that many people care about them, but… Their props were really cool though, what’s with all the black feathers, rose petals, flowers according to their ‘theme colors’ and for some of them, weapons. I HAVE A SNEAK SHOT OF KH2 COSPLAYERS All EATING LUNCH TOGETHER! Until Fish reminded me that I was supposed to ask people for permission before taking pictures of them. TToTT I’m so sorry, KH2 cosplayers. But Riku was really good… And he’s TALL too. Okay, enough about the cosplayers. Some of the booths there were selling really cool stuffs. Like the booth selling Rozen Maiden posters, I thought the Barasuishou, Kirakishou and Suigintou were really good. I wanted to buy them you know. Until I asked how much one cost and the guy said one for 10 bucks, whole set of 8 for 50. The price scared me off. OHOHOH AND SHOP WITH THE AWESOME MUKURO-SAMA PRINT!! It’s damn cute! The print I mean. Mukuro-sama spearing Marshmello!Byakuran I LAUGHED. LIKE MAD. And now that it’s on my wall I laugh every time I see it. Fish said that it would’ve been cuter if Mukuro-sama poked Byakuran And the FF planner booth… We stood there and debated for like 10 minutes as to whether I should get one. Mean while the booth owner was standing there and smiling at us super amusedly. As in, haha that’s so funny smile, not quick make up your mind whether you want to buy or not smile. I therefore conclude that the shopkeeper is nice :D We planned to go walk around a bit more then come back to buy it, but I guess we forgot all about it and ended up not buying >_> And ho man, why did the SUPER OMG~~~ OFFICIAL POSTCARD OF YOUNG!, 15 YEAR OLD AND 25 YEAR OLD MUKURO-SAMA GET SOLD OUT!!!!! Are you all having fun with FFXIII? I’m Nomura, and this is my second time appearing here. They suddenly told me that I had to write a blog entry after they’ve put up the new trailer. But I was late with it again. So what did you think of the new trailer? There is quite a lot of stuff we packed into it. We even included some scenes from a secret event. This time we thought we shouldn’t put too many of the best scenes in the game in the trailer, since that would give away too much. So instead we took a little bit from a secret scene instead, as a last resort. I hope you’ll watch all of the main scenes of the game for yourself. Also, I feel that this time we’ve created quite a good game. How you’ve arranged your Deck Commands will play a big part in how you get through battles. So collected a lot of Commands, and try out which ones work best. For me, the first time I had trouble was in Olympus Colosseum. In the tournament you have to fight a series of battles under a time limit. There is an Unversed called “Buckle Bruiser” that, well... keeps repelling your attacks. It’s even more irritating than the “Large Body” Heartless.... Once the time limit was up, I switched around my Deck Commands and tried again. So everyone, please watch out for the “Buckle Bruiser”. Also, watch out for the timing on your Shoot Locks. You’ll need it. One special feature in this game is the “Command Board”. It’s different from the rest of the game, and will give you a nice break. I’m really happy we put it in. Even if you don’t win, you don’t have to reset. You can upgrade your Commands and play as many times as you want. So you can just take it easy and have fun with it. We’ve put a lot of different elements into this game, and I really feel that we’ve made an interesting one. We only have a little longer before it releases. The battle system seems super confusing right now though… I read a translated page of a preview of it and got a headache. It’s like, OMG I WANNA FAINT AND DIE. I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL. And I’m the type of person who can pick up games and get used to it super quickly. But then again I AM the do it to learn kinda person not the read and learn kinda person, so yeah. But anyways, I just had a thought. In BBS, Ven is 15 years old. And this takes place 10 years before KH. And in one of the official art, which included Organization XIII, Roxas was drawn as a 20+ year old. And Nomura-sensei never explained why he drew Roxas that way. But! I’m thinking… Take Ven’s BBS age, plus 10, equals 25, AKA ‘20+ year old’. Does that mean Ven has some connection to Sora, seeing as Roxas is Sora’s Nobody? Actually, I’m pretty certain he does, which he why he and Roxas look exactly the same, and I HIGHLY DOUBT it’s just a mere coincidence. Wonder what connection it is, then… KHR latest chapter, hmm hmm hmm~ Amano-sensei seems to be fulfilling all my wishes~~ I wished that Mukuro-sama would use the Demon Lenses, and YAY THERE HE IS USING THEM~~ Another of my wishes fulfilled XD I wonder if she heard me all the way from Japan O___O 6996 moment HO YAY~~~!!!! Title: It sounds really nice and all, but since I can't find the lyrics at the moment, I don't really see how it's related to the song and all, but it probably is, cos all the other songs' titles were related to the songs. Music: To be honest, it wasn't really what I was expecting, so I was like pretty O_O when I heard it. I was expecting it to be something like Kienai Negai, so yeah XD But it wasn't bad... Just not very Mukuro-sama-ish. Singing: Overall: Pretty good but... Not very Mukuro-sama-ish. It's awesome to me but you might not like it if you like songs that fit the characters. Now for Chrome's song! :D Title: Fits really well with the song. REALLY well. Music: Super good, in my opinion. It compliments the singing damn well and doesn't sound like... extra at all. And the volume is just nice as well, instead of being so soft we can't hear it or being so loud we can't hear the singing. Kinda has the beats when it's necessary while also maintaining the melodic-ness of it all. <3 Singing: VERY in-character. I mean VERY. And it sounds super good. Officially loves Satomi Akesaka. Just what we expect from Chrome. <3 Overall: LOVE. Oh man I can seriously imagine Chrome singing this. As in, CHROME singing this, not Satomi singing it in Chrome's voice. Out of the whole series of songs released... Claire loves: Hitotsu Dake - Tsuna Horizon - Hibari-san Hareta sora miageta - Ryohei JUMP!!! - Kyoko & Haru Kioku no hate - Mukuro-sama Namida no Ondo - Chrome Ryohei's one doesn't sound THAT bad, as compared to his other songs... It's pretty good in it's own way. As for those not listed here... Reborn... was never born to sing. Really. Gokudera and Yamamoto: Simply put, they're NOT MEANT to sing solos. You put them together and they can sing WONDERS, but solos... Oh gosh. Lambo and Ipin: Their song isn't bad, honestly, but I just couldn't stand the high-pitched laughing which didn't seem to serve any purpose in the song... Dino-san NEEDS to have a song. I'm pretty sure all the KHR fangirls out there agree with me. I mean, he appeared WAAAAY BEFORE the Millefiore but they have a song even before him. Kinda... unfair. ANYWAYS I'VE FINISHED CRISIS CORE -cries in emo corner- Before I start crying and sobbing about the ending Genesis, I'm sorry I ever called you a jerk and a bastard and blah. The ending kinda showed he wasn't so much of one in the end, but I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT ZACK MEANT WHEN HE SAID GENESIS KNEW!!! KNEW WHAT?!!! OMG AJDHJASAB AND WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM IN THE END?!!! SBGBABGDNA I THOUGHT HE'D DIE, BUT HIS DEGRADING SOMEHOW GOT CURED AND HE SOMEHOW LIVED BUT THEN TWO PEOPLE CAME ALONG AND TOOK HIM AWAY AND SAID SOMETHING LIKE HE'LL BECOME THEIR 'BROTHER' AND HUH?!!!!!! AND WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THE TWO PEOPLE ARE!!! Okay but from what I read from somewhere by PURE ACCIDENT I SWEAR those 2 people were Nero and Weiss from Dirge of Cerberus -beeep!- them OMGOSH but WHAT THE HECK DO THEY MEAN BY 'BROTHER' ABSJKBHAQBN My bro sorta agrees with the Dirge of Cerberus part as well, cos after I finished the game and ran to him screaming WTH HAPPENED TO GENESIS OMG WHAT HAAAAPPENEDDD he said that Genesis appeared in Dirge of Cerberus for a short while. DISC GOT UTTERLY SCREWED UP HALFWAY OMG ABDJBSDHJBAHB NOOOOOO!!!!!! OF ALL TIMES?!!!)... CLOUD COULD ACTUALLY HEAR AND SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TIME OF THEIR ESCAPE AND JOURNEY TO MIDGAR BUT HE COULDN'T REPLY ZACK AT ALL SADSADSAD!!!!! Just imagine how sad that is. The ending part, is like, omg. Zack was like "Wait for me, I'll be back soon, okay?" Then he walked off to go fight the anfjkue army troops, BUT HE DIDN'T SEE THAT CLOUD COULD FINALLY RESPOND TO HIM COS HIS BACK WAS TURNED. THEN ZACK GOT FATALLY WOUNDED IN HIS FIGHT AND WAS JUST LYING THERE UNABLE TO MOVE AT ALL AND CLOUD SOMEHOW MANAGED TO CRAWL OVER TO HIM. YES I SAID CRAWL. ZACK WAS LIKE GLAD TO SEE YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE COS HE DIDN'T KNOW CLOUD ACTUALLY KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON THE WHOLE TIME, GOSHDAMN MAKO ADDICTION. THEN THEY TALKED FOR A WHILE UNTIL ZACK GAVE CLOUD HIS BUSTER SWORD, WHICH HE GOT FROM ANGEAL, AND TOLD CLOUD TO INHERIT HIS DREAMS AND HONOR AND GO ON LIVING FOR THE BOTH OF THEM. BUSTER SWORD. FROM ANGEAL. THIS LIKE, SERIOUSLY MEANS A LOT. AFTER THAT ZACK DIED OMGOSH T___T And Cloud screamed. I think the scream was what made me cry even harder. Cloud was like "Goodnight, Zack" before he left and then Zack's body dissolved into the lifestream and at least I'm glad Cloud didn't see Zack turning into particles and all that or I'd really cry even worse. Cue the credits. And after the credits, a short scene of Cloud on the top of train to Midgar. AND CLOUD CARRIED ON ZACK'S AND ANGEAL'S RITUAL OF PLACING THE BUSTER SWORD AGAINST HIS FOREHEAD. THIS IS SUPER DAMN TOUCHING COS DUE TO THE AHJKBAHBZN MAKO, HE FORGOT ABOUT EVERYTHING IN CRISIS CORE AND HIS PERSONALITY GOT SCREWED UP (good thing he gained everything back later on) BUT HE SOMEHOW MANAGED TO REMEMBER THE RITUAL, EVEN IF IT'S ONLY SUBCONSCIOUSLY. That means, his friendship with Zack was so strong that he couldn't completely forget it, at least that's how I interpret it. And when I was watching Advent Children, seeing the horribly beat up Buster sword in Zack's death location as a sorta memorial, Super touching. And for some reason, my memory of Angeal saying "Use brings about wear, tear and rust. And that's a real waste." was like playing in my head. Now I get fangirls' logic about the ZackCloud pairing, and to be honest, I don't disagree with them. I mean, really. Zack did everything for Cloud during their escape, and REFUSED to abandon him many many times. Even though that meant he'd probably be able to get back to Midgar faster. But Fish I shall not convert just because of this! D< Not even if it's Zack and Cloud, or Noctis and Shotgun guy! (And won't Squeenix hurry up and release his name?!)
