My problems with my entry (specifically):
1. I daren't even call the cityscape anything more than some lego-blocks-like ... THING that 5 year olds draw. T_T
2. The sky looks polluted orz. At this rate the judges are gonna think I drew "SAVE THE EARTH" instead of "Flight".
3. The clouds... are ghey. 'Nuff said.
4. THE EYES. MY GOD, THE EYES.
5. THE SOCKS AND SHOES. AND THE HAIR LOOKS PLASTIC.

... I am going to go cry in the corner now.

On the other hand...
What makes me happy with it...
1. I like the way I did the skin. 8DDD I added white so it looks like the super cool slightly shiny type. 8D
2. The dress and armwraps look slightly shiny, just like how I always wanted, but could never achieve on paper. 8DDDD
3. THE WINGS. THEY MAKE ME HAPPY. 8DD ..Okay, so they don't really look more than furry columns but I think I really did try my best on them, and I LIKE them. I don't care if everyone else sees my wings and puke but AH I AM HAPPY WITH THEM. 8D I am going to kill the judges if they fail me specifically BECAUSE of the wings.
I mean, I'll fail anyways (see the five reasons above this paragraph?), but if it's BECAUSE of the wings, KILLKILLKILL.

... I think what's DEFINITELY gonna get me thrown out is the "cityscape".
Even I want to puke seeing it... But I have no idea how to make it look nice.
Remind me to go practice backgrounds after this competition.

I'll be happy if the judges even look at my work for more than a minute because they recognise my effort and feel sad about the fact that they can't accept me. (...I'm overrating my work here, yes?)
'Cuz at the very least I can honestly and proudly say I tried so hard I spoiled one tablet pen nib. (Yes, really.)
And fell asleep in art class after staying up late and got murdered.

... Now in an attempt to randomly edit stuff and TRY (and still failing) to better my entry, I've started messing around with controls like the hue and saturation.
AND DISCOVERED THAT ARIS (my OC) CAN LOOK SERIOUSLY GOOD WITH HAIR OF ANY COLOR.
SERIOUS. :D
SO FUN.
Now I'm seriously considering whether to make her hair another color. XD
I've already edited her eyes to a more amberish color, by the way. Since that's the actual color.

I got myself Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City !
Yeah I really went and bought it... XD;;
The ROM just plain refused to work on my DS...
And for the emulator... 'D
It DID work (in a way...) but it completely hangs whenever I exit the shop.
Which would mean I would be doomed to never make it past level 3.
Since no shop means no specialized weapons, which would MEAN no skills available.
Also means I'd be stuck with one miserable Dagger from start til end.
Would also guarantee certain death anyways, weapon or not.
No shop means can't sell monster drops, which also means no money.
And my starting money would run out eventually from inns and treatments. 'D
Means I can't heal if I'm low on HP/TP or dead.
DIE.

So yeaaaah I bought it. :D
Not regretting it anyways. Happy Claire~
I mean, I got the super rare free artbook. 8DD
And there was only one box at the shop which gave the artbook.
That's not an accurate measure of how rare it is, though.
The artbook is supposedly only given to people who preordered the game, and even then, there are VERY limited copies of it, and it's still given on a first-come-first-served basis to the preorder-ers.
So plenty of people didn't get it.
But I got it without preordering, and a month later.

AND not forgetting Persona 3 Portable. One must never forget Atlus, no matter how awesomeful Square Enix is.
(Because Atlus also came up with Etrian Odyssey, one of my favourite DS games EVER.)

Not to mention maybe Star Ocean: First Departure, if there's time. My brother got it.

I folded a paper plane out of my wet tissue. After I was done with it duh.
Then I tried to do it with the big napkins they give you to put on your lap.
Which is weird cuz HOW OLD ARE WE?!

So anyways I tried to fold a plane out of it.
Until I realized that the napkins weren't STRAIGHT. l<
As in, the napkin isn't squre/rectangular at all. It's completely slanted.
QUALITY CONTROL IS DEAD APPARENTLY.

Until my brother pointed out that since it's more squarish than rectangular in shape, I can't fold it anyways.

Just regular training for the Sec 1s (and some 2s) while we sit and stone stalk 'invigilate' them. XD

The 2 of them were trying to set up the projector screen together.
Which is good and all.
But.
THE PROJECTOR SCREEN IS FREAKISH HEAVY >__________< lll
You need 3 normal-sized and fairly strong people to set it up, or maybe 2 quite strong people.
Both of them are small not so regular-sized!!
Jun Ming was clinging onto the base of the projector screen for dear life and Zheng Xiu HAD TO CLIMB ONTO A CANTEEN TABLE JUST TO PULL THE SCREEN UP.
And even then they couldn't do it.
The way they were trying to was damn epic I tell you XDDDDD

Something's not adding up, though. ;_____;
In Chapter 49, before we got all the awesome flashbacks of when Ryuko was still alive, we saw a mini-flashback of a young Kou (but in his 'mature' adult form) talking with Ryuko...
So that means Kou obtained his human form while Ryuko was still alive.
But in THIS chapter, 54, Kou was seen fleeing in his 'baby form', a big dog...
And Ryuko dies. (NOOooooooOOOOOOooooooOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo T_______T )
So that means...
Unless Kou is capable of shifting between his human form and his dog form...
And I don't think he can do it, anyways...
Then something's not adding up.
I mean, by how it incorrectly adds up right now...
It could either go 2 ways.
Which both happen to be impossible, anyways.
1. 'Baby' form --> 'Mature' form --> 'Baby' form --> 'Mature' form
or
2. 'Mature' form --> 'Baby form' --> Still in 'Baby' form --> 'Mature' form
This makes no sense.

I bought both of them on the same day at Kino, so they seriously BLEW my pocket.
I no longer have enough money to buy manga this week.
But that's okay, 'cuz I love artbooks and these are by my 2 IDOL manga-kas, EVER. 8D
2 idol artists ever, even.
(But recently Amano-sensei's art style seems to have changed? @___@ If you compare middle-of-Varia-arc part all the way up to the final seriously un-epic battle with Byakuran with the current Inheritance arc, it's different, I swear.)

BTW, Separation Sky not equals Monochrome Factor artbook. It equals artbook of all of Sorano-sensei's art. Meaning, Monochrome Factor, Mother Keeper, CRISTO (NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF CRISTO ;____; ) and a couple of random art.

Art's reminding me more and more of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor's art...
I wonder if the person who did Devil Survivor's character art drew the art for the DRRR!! light novels...
If he didn't, that's ONE HECK of a very identical similar art style...

I CAN'T GO TO COSFEST.
DAMN.
As in, both illegally and legally.
This pissed me off so much.
BECAUSE.
My mother is so freakingly paranoid and she's ABSOLUTELY convinced that I'm DEFINITELY going to secretly attend Cosfest if she lets me out of the house for any reason whatsoever.
As a result, I can't even LEAVE THE HOUSE for 5 minutes for the entire weekend.
Even if I have super important work to do, or even if the house is BURNING DOWN.
WTF.

And the thing that pisses me off the second most is how deadly accurate she is.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Clearly, my parents are completely IGNORANT.
To the extent of being horrendously DUMB.
They don't understand the SIGNIFICANCE OF COSFEST?!
And the fact that it's a once in a lifetime event doesn't even register in their brains?!
Once a year, I know, but every Cosfest is different, so it's still a once in a lifetime event.
Urgh, they're so ignorant it should be a crime.
Can someone please lock them up and throw away the key?
They UTTERLY fail as parents.
They can't even recognise how much this means to their only daughter.
And, it's her MOTIVATION TO STUDY.
They know this, and yet they refuse to let me go?!
They're like, "Motivation? What motivation? Your motivation should be for your future! blahblahyaddayadda whee."
Hellooooooo? DO they REALLY not know their own DAUGHTER well enough to know that these kinda talks about working for your future don't motivate me even a slightest micrometre?
Things that motivate me: MY FANDOM.
When you have parents that don't understand you at ALL, yet believes, "Oh, I know my daughter SOOO well! I'm 100% certain I'm the only parent in the entire world who COMPLETELY understands my child!"...
You really want to just either kill them in their sleep or jump off the highest cliff available.
I vote the former.

So, yes, I can't go to Cosfest.
